Stockholm Problems

While trying to install the Whyre, semacodes, IR-beacons and MagicMap we encountered a number of problems:

  • There was essentially no network infrastructure present and we had to make use of two wgt routers. Please see Wrt54gl for the final setup of the routers.
  • There was not enough lighting for the semacodes, as the rooms are painted black.
  • MagicMap didn't work as the position is not transmitted from the PDA to the server – I am taking to the MagicMap guys about that at the moment.
  • The stereo camera was seeing ghosts due to reflections coming from the class covering the exhibits in the main corridor.
