EPOCH Scenarios

At the EPOCH Executive Committee meeting on 8th August 2006, Nick Ryan was asked to coordinate the Network's efforts on scenario development. We will use this page for documenting this activity.

Scenarios should be application-oriented, but targetted at a specific user group, e.g. developer, curator, manager, politician. They should not be solely concerned with technologies, for example thay could include Jim's models.

Tasks:

  • Analyse
    • 3.3 matrix
    • 2.x stakeholder needs, where are the links/applications?
    • usability
  • selective, systematic coverage of potential situations where scenarios could be of benefit to the community.
  • Will need to consult e.g. CHEDI, Guntram, Neil, 3.3 tech leaders,

Targets:

  • Internal workshop at VAST, 2+ hours?
